Hello...

If you come across this blog it's either because you are looking to book a fairy godmother for an event or looking for cosplay ideas for a fairy godmother. At this blog you will find neither, although if the price is right....
I'm just another mom who needs a 30 minute outlet to share my experiences with the those of the internet who are willing to read. This is me, Lisa.

and this is my 2nd Ethan taken in 2013. Sorry for an outdated picture, but I don't really like to take selfies, and I will probably share in another post. I have two boys, Eric is the oldest at 6 years old.
My hot hubby Jake (not from State Farm)

We live in the Golden State and need to do a better job of visiting all parts of California with E squared. Currently I work full time as an auditor at a Bay Area accounting firm. Six years later I'm still trying to find that work life balance. That's a whole different post that I have to compose once October 15th deadline is over.

Why start a blog? I'm totally inspired by my good friend at http://stubbornthoughts.com/. She is incredibly funny and if you like my blog hers is much more insightful and I agree with most of her posts. Well I thought I could share a voice for those moms out there who are struggling to keep it together, working full time and raising young one's in an ever changing culture. Today I also started reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up the Japanese art of decluttering and organizing by Marie Kondo. Yes I'm about to see what this KonMari Method is all about.

See to the right of the photo? The smudges? Well Ethan likes to take my pencils and write on my white desk. I once read on an HGTV magazine, I think it was Genevieve Gorder, whom said that it is possible to have white furniture with children. *EYEROLL There is no surface in my house that has a child's mark on it. Welp, maybe this book will help me tidy with the little one's around. Hopefully as I begin to go through this book I will feel more prepared to handle the everyday messes. I also want to share that I am thinking of becoming a professional organizer. My favorite book when I was younger was The Berenstain Bears and the Messy Room

At the end of the story I would skip to the last pages where the cubs had the puzzles organized in a box and their closet had labeled boxes. To me it was cool. When I would visit my cousins, I'd rather help them clean their room, than play with their toys. Although they had some pretty sweet toys, after playing with the Beauty and the Beast play set I would clean up. Plus my 6 years as an auditor is proof that I like things in order. Ben Wyatt is my spirit animal.

I think post gives you somewhat of a small idea of who I am. I look forward to see where this blog goes.
